_Ghost Dad

After seeing these stickers around so often we had to look into it. It took a while so we’ve kept it to ourselves until now. In Chicago, possibly elsewhere, their has been an influx of these classic red name tags with really simple silhouetted figures done in black marker adorned on them. We did a as much research as we could and recently came to find out that this is the work of Ghost Dad and is in fact closer to us then we would have ever thought. Obviously a comical reference to, Ghost Dad, the 1990 comedy film directed by Sidney Poitier, starring Bill Cosby, in which a widower’s spirit is able to communicate with his children after his tragic death. The stickers themselves are tolerable and often convey a broader range of emotions than we could have expected. Ghost Dad has us much more intrigued upon recently finding out his moniker, we love Ghost Dad.
